Nowruz and Asho Zartosht’s birthday celebrations!

نوروز ۱۴۰۲ در راه است. این جشن باستانی هزاران سال است که نوید روزی نو را به ما میدهد، بیاید همه در کنار هم این روز را جشن بگیریم.
امسال انجمن زرتشتیان سیدنی جشن بزرگی همراه با رقص و شادی و شامی مفصل برگزا میکند.
جشن نوروز و همچنین زایش اشوزرتشت امسال در روز ۲۶ مارچ ۲۰۲۳ از ساعت ۱۲ ظهر در محل درب مهر برگزار میگردد.
پاسداری از فرهنگ و سنت نیاکان خویشکاری ماست.
سفره زیبای هفت سین، تنوع غذا و برنامه های دیگر از نقاط قوت ۲۶ مارچ میباشد.

باقالی پلو با ماهیچه، جوجه کباب و کباب، قورمه سبزی.

قورمه سبزی، لوبیا پلو، میرزا قاسمی، همراه با نان، پیاز و مخلفات

Nowruz and Asho Zartosht’s birthday is fast approaching, and we are gearing up for a fantastic celebration of the Persian New Year and Khordadsal! This ancient tradition has been celebrated for thousands of years, and it’s a time for people of all ages to come together and celebrate!

This year, the AZA community is hosting a grand celebration, filled with exciting activities and delicious food. Join us on 26th March 2023 from 12pm at the AZA for a day of fun and festivities, as we welcome the new year and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our community.

The highlights will include a traditional Haft-sin table display and a grand feast, featuring a delicious spread of traditional Persian food. You won’t want to miss the savory kebabs, the aromatic rice dishes, and the sweet pastries and sweets. This feast is not to be missed!

This year’s catering will be organised by Surena Persian Restaurant, Carlingford.

Mains menu:

1. Baghali polo lamb shank with broad bean rice and dried dill

2.Chicken kabab and lamb mince kabab (joojeh and koobideh) served with rice

3. Ghorme sabzi (lamb cooked with red kidney beans, herbs and dried limes)

Vegan menu:

1.Ghorme Sabzi (red kidney beans, herbs and dried limes) served with rice

2.Lubia Polo (green bean & soy rice)

3.Plant based meat skewers

4.Mirza Ghasemi (grilled eggplant, tomato, garlic & onion)

Condiments: Pita bread, onion & tzatziki

Dessert bar decorated with Nowruz floral decorations:

1.Sholezard (traditional saffron rice pudding)

2.Zolbia (crunchy and sweet)

3.Mix of Nowruz cookies

Non-members: $76 per person
Children 5-12 years old: $26 per child
Children under 5: Free
